5 Fourth of July DIY Ideas

5 Fourth of July DIY Ideas

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

The Fourth of July is right around the corner. I have less home decor for this holiday that most of the others. Do you decorate for the Fourth? I like to add to my collection of holiday decor every year, so finding new projects to work on is always on my list of to-dos.  Looking around the web for ideas can really inspire me to get some crafty projects underway. There is so much project inspiration out there that it can be overwhelming. Here are five quick projects and the best part is these could be done with kids.

Fouth of July Mason Jars
Fourth of July Mason Jars and pinwheels

This first idea is one straight from Craft-e-Corner Craft expert Kala! Give your kids the paint, and get them to paint the mason jars while you show them how to fold those pinwheels. You could use these pinwheels as wall decor too, if you decided to make them larger.  Click here to see the full tutorial.

Tin Can Windsocks from The Wilson World

I love these Windsocks! I’m sure you probably have some sort of tin cans laying around that you use for this project. Different sizes would definitely add some variety to this project. Stencils or stamps could be used to create the star shapes on the cans.

Fourth-of-July-Wreath
Clothespin Wreath from Fun Holiday Crafts

Wreaths are one of my favorite decorations to make and display for any holiday, and this clothespin wreath is so perfect and simple, not to mention how inexpensive this would be to make. A wire wreath-form and some clothespins, and a little paint is all that you would need for this. Another tip to to save time would be to use  clothespins that are pre-painted or decorated to start with.

4th-of-July-Pot
Fourth of July Pot from All Kids Network

Here's is a super simple project that could even be made by toddlers. Terracotta pots are another inexpensive product that have endless possibilities for craft projects. Shop for some paint and this project is done.

Hope you feel inspired to create some awesome Patriotic projects.  Click on any of the items below to shop for our picks to make these projects!
