Teacher Appreciation DIY Tumbler with Cricut Vinyl

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

Teacher Appreciation Day is May 4th. This is a cute and easy way to personalize a gift for a teacher in your life. Simply add their name and a cute graphic to a tumbler or mug, fill it up with some goodies, and you are all set!

Materials Needed:
• Glass Tumbler (mine is from Amazon)
• Cricut Permanent Vinyl
 Cricut Transfer Tape
• Cricut Die Cutting Machine
 Cricut Mat
 Cricut Tools

Directions:

1. Make Your Design
I made my own design in Adobe Illustrator and then uploaded it to Design Space, however there are many free images right in Design Space, or you can just do a search online for free vectors/svg files. Size your image accordingly to your tumbler. I ended up making mine 3" wide.

2. Cut
Cut your design using the fine point blade on permanent vinyl.

3. Weed
Carefully weed your design.

 4. Transfer Design
Use transfer tape to place your design in your tumbler. Start from the center and press outwards. Slowly remove the transfer tape.

And now you are done! I added some goodies to the inside, but I think just the tumbler as a gift is great as well!
