All About Cricut Explore 3

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

If you haven't heard the news yet, there are two new Cricut die-cutting machines: the Cricut Explore 3 and Cricut Maker 3. They will both be available at Craft-e-Corner on June 10! In this post today, we're going to highlight some of the features of Cricut Explore 3.

Before we get started, you may have noticed that there is a bit of a name change to this machine compared to its predecessor. Its predecessor was called the Cricut Explore Air 2 and this machine is simply Cricut Explore 3. In the previous model, "Air" was added to the name of the machine to indicate that the machine was compatible with Bluetooth. However, from now on, all Cricut machines will be compatible with Bluetooth so they removed the "Air" from the name.

Let's check out the incredible features of Cricut Explore 3.

COMPATIBLE WITH SMART MATERIALS

The Cricut Explore 3 has brand new technology that allows it to work with Smart Materials. With Smart Materials, you no longer need to use a cutting mat. Currently, there is Smart Vinyl, Smart Iron-on and Smart Paper Sticker Cardstock. Now you can cut up to 12 feet long on the Cricut Explore 3 without the use of a cutting mat. Imagine all of the projects you could be making!

CUTS 100+ MATERIALS

Cricut Explore 3 can cut over 100+ materials ranging from cardstock, iron-on, glitter paper, bonded fabric, vinyl and more. It's the perfect die-cutting machine for the everyday crafter!

UP TO 2X FAST THAN ITS PREDECESSOR

Compared to the Cricut Explore Air 2, this new machine is now 2x faster than the previous model when cutting Smart Materials. Now you can create faster than ever before!

COMPATIBLE WITH 6 TOOLS FOR CUTTING, WRITING, FOILING AND MORE

The Cricut Explore 3 works with multiple different blades and tools. The Fine-Point Blade, which is included in the purchase of your machine, will be your most popular blade and cuts a wide variety of craft materials like vinyl, iron-on and paper. You can also work with the Foil Transfer Tool on the Explore 3 to add professional-level foil embellishments to your projects. If you're into paper crafting, you'll love using the Scoring Stylus! And if you are interested in working with thicker materials like veneer or leather, you'll love working with the Deep Point Blade.

COMPATIBLE WITH CRICUT ROLL HOLDER TO SUPPORT ROLLS OF SMART MATERIAL UP TO 75 FEET

Now that you can create cuts up to 12 feet long on Cricut Explore 3, Cricut created a roll holder to support these large rolls of vinyl you may be working with. The new Cricut roll Holder can hold rolls of Smart Material up to 75 feet.

We hope you're excited for the new Cricut Explore 3! We are so excited to be offering it here at Craft-e-Corner. Make sure to mark your calendars for June 10 and snag yours here at Craft-e-Corner!
