Bachelorette Party Hats Using Cricut Hat Press

If you're looking for a fun and easy DIY project for your bachelorette party, custom hats are the way to go! With the Cricut Hat Press and Cricut Iron-on, you can create stylish, personalized hats for your entire bridal crew. Materials:

• Cricut Iron-on in your choice of colors
• Cricut Heat Tape
• Cricut Hat Blanks
• Cricut Hat Press Machine
• Cricut Cutting Machine

Directions:

Open up Cricut Design Space and start creating your cut design! For my project, I’m designing a mix of phrases to fit each member of my bridal party. I’m using a variety of fonts that come with my Cricut Access Subscription to give each piece a unique touch.

Follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space to bring your project to life! The software will guide you through each step, from loading your material to cutting out your design. Cut the phrases from your choice of Cricut Iron-on heat transfer vinyl.

Carefully weed your iron-on design, removing all the excess vinyl so only your design remains on the backing.

Next, set your hat on the Cricut Hat Press base to keep it stable and in place. Position your weeded design exactly where you want it on the Cricut Hat Blank. If needed, use a little Heat Resistant Tape to hold it securely so it doesn’t shift while pressing.

Go ahead and plug in your Cricut Hat Press. Then, open the Cricut Heat App on your phone - it makes the process super easy! In the app, select the type of iron-on material you’re using, and it will guide you through the exact time and temperature settings needed. Just follow the step-by-step prompts to press your design onto the hat blank, ensuring a smooth and lasting application.

Slowly peel away the carrier sheet to reveal your finished design when cool to the touch.
