Cricut Explore Unboxing

Cricut Explore 3 Unboxing

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

Want to take a peek inside the Cricut Explore 3 box? In this post today, we're going to unbox the Cricut Explore 3 so you can see everything that comes with your new machine! Before we get started, I did want to note that if you order a Cricut Explore 3 bundle from Craft-e-Corner, you'll have additional components. This is strictly what comes in the Explore 3 box!

Envelope: Getting Started with the Explore 3

When you first open your box, you'll find a white envelope. This is what you'll want to use to get started with your machine! As you open it up, you'll notice a few different items. First, you'll find a green piece of paper that says "Let's Get Started". Follow the steps on here to activate your machine at www.cricut.com/setup. Then you'll find two pamphlets, one on your warranty and one on safety information. Your machine does come with a one-year warranty! Lastly, you'll find a piece of Cricut Smart Vinyl - Removable in black. This is going to be a sample piece that you will use during set-up to make a sticker.

USB and Power Cord

At the bottom of the box, you'll find two cords: the USB cord to connect your Explore 3 to your computer and the power cord. I did want to note two things for you here about the cords. First, you'll need the USB to connect your Explore 3 to your computer. This will not only register your machine to your Cricut account but it will also update your machine to the latest software. With the power cord, you will only be able to use this power cord with your Explore 3. In the past, you were able to interchange power cords for the Explore Air 2 and Maker - but that is not the case anymore. You can only use the Explore 3 cord with the Explore 3.

Smart Materials

Lastly, you will find a pack of Smart Materials in your box. You will receive three Smart Materials: Smart Vinyl - Removable, Smart Iron-On and Smart Paper Sticker Cardstock. In this box, both the Smart Vinyl and Smart Iron-On were black and the Smart Paper Sticker Cardstock was white. Lastly, you'll get a sheet of transfer tape to use as well. Note: your colors may vary.

Don't forget, you also get a free trial to Cricut Access and 100 ready-to-make projects as well!

That's everything that comes in the Cricut Explore 3 box! If you're looking to buy a Cricut Explore 3, make sure you check out the bundles available on our website. Happy crafting!
