Summer is the season of celebration, with plenty of reasons to host parties and gatherings. And personalized party favors are a great way to make your guests feel appreciated and add a special touch to the festivities.

In this blog post, we'll be showing you how to make party favors from scrapbook paper using a Cricut cutting machine. With its precise and intricate cuts, a Cricut can turn plain paper into beautiful and unique designs that are perfect for any summer celebration. Not only are these party favors fun to make, but they also offer endless opportunities for customization. You can personalize them to match your party's theme or color scheme, add your guests' names or initials, or even include a special message or quote.

Create your cut design in Cricut Design Space. I am using image #MF80CF, a fun folded takout design that makes a good size treat box while still fitting on a standard sheet of 12x12 inch scrapbook paper or cardstock. Size the design to 11.5 inches at its longest dimension for a finished box size of about 2.5 inches wide by 2.75 inches tall.

Make the project, using your favorite Cricut scoring tool (either a scoring stylus or a scoring wheel tip if you have Cricut Maker) to make short work of the folding needed for this project.

Crease along the score lines to assemble the box.

I am using my boxes for party favors for a garden party, so I stuffed them with bulbs for my guests. But obviously, you can use the boxes to hold candies or any little trinkets appropriate to your celebration.

Tie a bit of curling ribbon around the box to secure it closed and viola!
