Water Bottle Birthday Party Favors Using Cricut Vinyl

Summer birthday parties are all about fun in the sun, and these DIY water bottle favors are the perfect way to make your little guests feel extra special! Using your Cricut and some colorful vinyl, you can easily personalize each bottle with their names - super simple, super cute, and totally party-ready.

Materials:

• Water Bottles
• Cricut Vinyl
• Cricut Tool Kit
• Cricut Transfer Tape
• Cricut Cutting Machine

Directions:

First, measure the available space on your water bottle so you have a good idea of how big your design can be. This will help ensure your cut fits perfectly without looking too crowded or too small.

Next, create your cut design in Cricut Design Space. I made a design with the names of my party guests, but you can choose whatever text you like. You also get to pick your font - personally, I went with a bold, block-style font called BFC Athlete because it’s easy to read and really stands out on the bottle.

Go ahead and make your project by cutting out the names from your chosen Cricut vinyl. I’m using white vinyl because it really pops against the bright, colorful bottles I’m using for my favors, but you can pick any color that you like or that matches your theme.

Now it’s time to weed your vinyl. This just means carefully picking out all the extra pieces so that only your name design is left on the backing. Take it slow, especially around the small letters and details, so everything stays neat and clean.

Use Cricut Transfer Tape to move your vinyl design onto the bottle. Carefully position it where you want it, then press it down firmly and smooth it out - this is called burnishing, and it helps the vinyl stick really well. Once it’s securely in place, slowly peel back the transfer tape, making sure the vinyl stays stuck to the bottle.

Now you have personalized water bottle favors that are fun, colorful, and perfect for your summer birthday party. They’re super easy to make with your Cricut, and you can customize each one however you like. Your little guests will love them, and it’s such a simple way to add a special touch to your celebration.
