Cricut Glow in the Dark Halloween Themed Cups (Beginner Project)
I saw some black tumblers on Amazon and knew I wanted to make one of my first projects with them and Cricut’s new glow in the dark removable vinyl!
Materials I used:
Cricut Glow-in-the-Dark Vinyl.
Cricut Removable Matte Vinyl (15 ft)
When they arrived, I measured all around the cup and I measured the length. I did this so that I could make a box in Design Space and keep all the images I wanted to add in that box so I knew for sure they would all fit on my cup without looking too crowded. I made the box 8”x7” Make sure to “unlock proportions” in Design Space so you are able to adjust the size how you want it.
Once I found all of the images that I wanted to use I was ready to use my Cricut Maker 3 to cut them. I started with the ghosts. I was able to weed them and then apply it to the cup exactly where it was shown on Design Space by using some transfer tape that I cut into an 8”x7” rectangle. This way it fit perfectly around the cup. This way it takes the guess work out of where to place the images on the cup since they will be in the same place as on Design Space.
I continued with the purple bats next and used the same piece of transfer tape to ensure they also would end up in the correct spot. I repeated the same process with the stars. I cut the moons but decided they were too small in comparison to the stars, so I decided not to use them.
This was a very simple project, but I am happy with how they turned out!
