Materials:

Directions:

Create your cut design in Cricut Design Space. Find your favorite bat silhouette in Images and add it to your canvas. I am using Bat #M3E49C2F0 included free with my Cricut Access subscription. Copy the image to create an assortment of bats that will fit on a 12x12 inch sheet of cardstock. Create your bats in various sizes about 4-6 inches wide.

Follow the on-screen prompts in Design Space to make the project, cutting the bats from black cardstock.

Carefully fold each wing forward slightly to enhance the bat’s dimensional appearance. This technique will add depth and a more lifelike quality to your bats, helping them stand out as eye-catching Halloween decorations.

To attach your paper bats to walls or the inside of your lampshades, apply a small piece of removable tape or a removable glue dot to the back of each bat’s body. This will secure them in place without causing damage, allowing you to easily reposition or remove them as needed.
