Pet Bowl Memorial Cricut Vinyl

Pet Bowl Memorial with Cricut Vinyl

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

Recently my parents had to put our family dog down. It was the hardest thing to do. I wanted to do something for my parents so that they had a little way to remember our special dog. I used her water bowl as a planter and put a cute saying on the outside with vinyl.

Materials:

          Cricut
          Cricut tools
          Standard Grip Mat
          Permanent Vinyl
          Transfer Tape
          Dog Bowl
          Dirt
          Plants (I used succulents)
          Rocks

I started by measuring the space for the front of the bowl. I created a rectangle in Design Space with these dimensions. I then created my design.

I cut the design out of Permanent Vinyl with my Cricut and weeded the design.

Using Transfer Tape, I placed the design onto the bowl.

Then I added dirt.

Next, I planted the succulents.

I used small pebbles to place around the succulents.

Also, me and my kids painted rocks to place in the memorial.

I sure hope they like this little memorial to always remember such an awesome dog!
