DIY Cricut Craft Projects for Halloween

Head on over to Craft-e-Corner Cricut Community Facebook Group for more inspiration and education!

Halloween is not too far off, and it's never too early to start preparing home decor to showcase your creativity and enjoyment of the season. These Cricut projects are more cute than they are creepy or scary, and pumpkins are a recurring theme. It’s so fun to change things up around the house to celebrate the different seasons. Or, at least, it is for some people. Somehow, I am not motivated to place things all over my house that will just need to be put away a few weeks later. I do enjoy making them, though, and I have plenty of family members who love to decorate their houses. Problem solved. Maybe you will see something here to make for yourself or for your loved ones.

HALLOWEEN DOOR HANGERS USING CRICUT PENS ON FABRIC

The little monsters in this project are so cute! While they certainly fit the Halloween theme, they are completely adorable. The googly eyes make them even more fun. I might try making them with colored fabric instead of white, but it would have to be a light enough color that the pen markings would show up.

GHOST FELT BANNER PROJECT

Here is a quick and easy way to decorate your home for Halloween with minimal effort. You could use any type of cutout you wanted. I think pumpkins or candy corn would be cute, too. You could even include a variety of cutouts on your banner. Hang this over doorways, windows, mirrors, walls, or any place you can think of. This post includes a video with the instructions, so you can actually watch it being made.

HALLOWEEN TOILET PAPER ROLL TREAT BOX TUTORIAL

I included this project mainly as a source of inspiration, as some of the materials used in the original project may no longer be available. Any other materials of your choosing can be used to put this together. It is such a cute idea and a unique way to give a Halloween treat. Use your imagination and make it your own!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! HOW TO CARVE A FOAM PUMPKIN TUTORIAL!

Here's a pumpkin you can carve without the mess! I'm all for that. The best part is, you can use it year after year. You decide what design you want on your pumpkin and go to town. You can even paint it if you want. Just don't use a real candle inside it when you're done, or it will melt.

MAKE YOUR OWN HALLOWEEN SHIRTS WITH CRICUT IRON-ON

How fun for kids to have their own Halloween T-shirts! You can decorate them with whatever they might be into each year. I love the two-toned T-shirts that were used in the original project. The orange and white stand out so well against the dark background.

PAINTED HALLOWEEN PLACEMATS USING VINYL MASKS

Even meal time on Halloween can be special with these decorated placemats. You could make a bunch the same or make each person a different one. You could vary it with the fabric, the mask patterns, or both. I especially like the paint spatters added at the end.

HALLOWEEN ENTRYWAY WITH A CRICUT

Want an easy way to decorate for Halloween that you can change up every year? Make a chalkboard sign like this one. You can even learn how to create a design that is bigger than your mat. Video instructions are included.

MY FIRST HALLOWEEN SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

Are you into scrapbooking? Do you have a little one in your life who will experience their first Halloween this year? If so, check out this scrapbook page that was created for that very purpose. Babies look especially cute in costumes, and this would be a great way to commemorate how you dressed them up each year.

LAST MINUTE JACK O LANTERNS TWO WAYS WITH YOUR CRICUT

Did someone say "last minute?" That's right up my alley. Count me in! I love how all the vinyl for this project was used, with one part being stuck on the first pumpkin and the other part being used as a stencil for the other one. Such a unique and creative idea. Too cute.

Which of these Halloween craft projects do you want to make this year?
